Full-Text eProceedings



Let us thank you again for your contributions to Heavy Quarks and Leptons 2008, both in terms of presentation and active participation in the conference. We will make the proceedings of the conference available as a full-text eProceedings. The proceedings of the conference will be published in the electronic form at the Electronic Conference Proceedings Archive (eConf).

The deadline for sending the contribution to the Scientific Secretariat is Friday, September 19, 2008.



Step 1: Prepare your paper



Download this template package

and follow the instructions outlined in hql08_template

to prepare your paper. ( This template uses RevTeX 4.0 RevTex 4.0

which should have been installed on your system with LaTeX) . The page limit is 6 and 8 pages for 20 and 30 minute presentations respectively.



Step 2: Submit the paper



You have two options, either:

(i) Send the paper (with all the files necessary to latex the document) to antoniol@unimelb.edu.au; or

(ii) Upload the paper (with all the files necessary to latex the document) to the indico agenda site; (HowTo)





by the deadline : Friday September 19, 2008. The paper will be refereed.



Step 3: Upload paper to the ePrint arXiv



After receiving comments, and making necessary changes, if any, from the referee (via the Scientific Secretariat). Please submit the paper to the ePrint arXiv

. The arXiv site contains detailed instructions

on how to do this as well as common mistakes

to avoid. Please upload only the source files (style files from the template, figures and the tex file.)

Also, please do the following:
* include the statement "Heavy Quarks and Leptons, Melbourne, 2008" in the comments field;



The ePrint arXiv will generate the postscript and PDF files from your source files. The paper, if successfully processed, will be available one business day later. Please check the PDF file and fix any problems before proceeding to the next step.



Step 4: Notify the Scientific Secretariat



When your paper is successfully submitted to the eprint arXiv and available for download, please send the Scientific Secretariat the eprint number via email. (antoniol@unimelb.edu.au)
